The difference is we offer private docks and only have two cottages that face different directions and are over 200 feet apart for additional privacy! We also offer our complementary extended stay for your romantic�getaway. Complimentary extended check out is at 4pm!

Choose one of our two luxury executive one bedroom cottages above. Both have very different and unique designs for couples who want peace and quite and maybe a little adventure. The cottages are 2.5 miles from the main highway on a gravel cottage road surrounded by lush woodlands. Each cottage is unique inside and out with manicured landscape, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, plush kitchens, AC and outdoor�hot tubs.�Perfect for honeymoons or power sport enthusiasts who want to go boating, ATVing and snowmobiling! Hit our Haliburton ATV and Snowmobile trails right from the cottages on OFSC Trail B103 and #9. You can hike, ATV or Snowmobile around our lake with ten thousand acres of crown land surrounding our beautiful cottages. If you have toys and want to enjoy them then this is the perfect place to stay in Haliburton or Muskoka. Only a 15 minute car, ATV or snowmobile drive to Haliburton village.
In the summer months, enjoy the beautiful weather and have some fun on the water with one of our Jet Ski packages or ride on land with an ATV or two! Can’t decide? Why not get one (or two) of each!
Looking for a winter vacation to bring your snowmobiles with close access to the greatest trails in the province? Look no further. Don’t have your own snowmobiles? Rent them as part of your stay with one of our affordable vacation n’ ride packages! Ski-Doo machines are MXZ 600 single seat or double seat. Riding gear is included with the Ski-Doo Rental price. The cottages have amazing trail access.

The Sugar Shack was designed to be nestled in the forest. This very cozy 1-bedroom cottage has two floors. From the moment you drive up and get out of your vehicle you will notice to your right a�stainless steel propane BBQ and an Egg for smoking and classic charcoal BBQ cooking. You have two BBQ options for the chef in you! To the left your very own outdoor fireplace, and behind the privacy curtain is your very own year around private hot tub with mood lighting.�Once you open the front door there is a�real wood burning�fireplace all prepared and ready for you to light. Sit back, relax and enjoy our 60 inch flat screen TV with surround sound. The kitchen is decked out with beautiful granite counter tops. Upstairs you enter into a country style tastefully designed open concept bedroom showcasing a roman bathtub perfect for 2. The roman bathtub and sink are in a beautiful modern�Europian style. We also have a larger than life projection screen for tv and movie viewing - it will make you feel as if your apart of whatever you choose to watch! We have a private enclosed area just for the toilet.�Also�a glass sliding door that enters into the enclosed balcony which keeps you sheltered from rain or snow. The deck also as an additional dining area for a romantic outdoor dining experience.�Relax in style with beautiful manicured landscape and woodland views. Our in-house entertainment is amazing! Our Wifi works on all 3 acres. So where ever you go you will be connected.

The Sugar Shack also has its very own private sandy beach that we like to call the lagoon. It is nestled on the south west side of the property in a very private cove. It is over 250 feet away from The Eagles Nest cottage dock. The docks are situated around the bay from each other so you cannot see the other dock. A perfectly quiet and relaxing private lagoon! Perfect for a midnight swim and lakeside roaring fire under a blanket of stars.
This cottage sleeps 2 people (no extra guests or pets please). If you would like to bring another couple you can rent�The�Eagles Nest that is 200ft away and faces�west where as The Sugar Shack faces South�and is divided by�woods for your privacy). Let us know if you would like to rent both! A security damage deposit of $500 is required for our cottage rentals.

Due to the overwhelming amount of clientele we have a very strict no refund policy. Cancellations 3 months prior to your booking date are non refundable. We require a 50 percent deposit at the time of booking and the remaining balance 30 days before your cottage rental. A security damage deposit of $500 is required for our cottage rentals. For winter please have snow tires as we are in the Haliburton snow belt area. If you don't have snow tires we offer a shuttle service in and out of the cottage for an�additional cost. It is best to be safe to make sure you enjoy your winter wonderland getaway!
Haliburton Village is 15 minutes away where you can find two grocery stores, many quaint boutiques and shops, The�Beer Store, LCBO ,2 gas stations, laundromat, library, bait & tackle, approx 4-5 restaurants and a hospital.

You can make your getaway even better with a minimum 2 day Jet Ski, ATV or Snowmobile rental which are available at�backcountrytours.ca! Or Bring your own Jet Ski, ATV or Snowmobile. You�have access to 1,700 km of ATV & Snowmobile trails right from our doorstep!�Our adult only cottage rentals are on the OFSC Snowmobile and ATV trails that lead you through Haliburton Muskoka, Bancroft, Parry Sound, Whitney and Peterborough.
You can also receive a discount�on our #1 Award Winning Epic 4hr ATV or Snowmobile Guided Tours!�Experience our Epic half day ATV adventures where you will drive deep into the�Back Country�Woodlands�this tour is ranked #1�must-do experience in Ontario. By renting the cottage both you and yours will save $25 per rental off this Epic ATV Adventure!
By renting our cottages you have the option of our preferred�ATV, Snowmobile and Jet Ski delivery service $289+HST. We will drop your ATV, Jet Ski or Snowmobile right at your front door and teach you how to drive them and give you trail advice. Minimum 2 day rentals on all deliveries. Your allowed to drive downtown in the Village park�with your ATV or Snowmobile and grab a bite to eat then hit the forest trails back to hidden lakes and beautiful scenery. We have great fishing Trout and Small Mouth Bass. If you would like to rent a Jet�Ski you will meet us at the government boat launch where we will teach you how to drive before you hit the lake!
